Vehicles of The Herod
Advanced Motorcycle / Abe's Ride
The Hawk
Chapter 28: This Little Light
“Gorgeous, isn't she?” Creek said with sniff. “That my friend is the completely illegal, highly modified, customized, and demonized, Dodge Tomahawk. Brenda named it Tom for Tom Cruise… she thought he was hot… but I named it The Hawk because… well… hawks are bad ass.”
[Later in the chapter]
“Yeah, baby! Feel that!” Creek yelled, staggering as the waves of low bass echoed throughout the hall. Abe revved the engine several times and could tell that the Viper engine that sat between his legs wanted desperately to show off its upgraded and refined seven hundred horsepower. “She can go up to four hundred miles per hour so be careful! I will use the Armadillo’s comm link to communicate with you, ok!” Abe nodded with a huge grin on his face. “Great! Ok, here... put this on!” Creek said handing the chrome helmet to Abe. “It's powered by the Hawk’s small fusion cell in the drive shaft! It doesn’t use gas… just the fusion cell! Once you put the helmet on, wait for me and we can get rolling!”
The motorcycle was a wonder of modern mechanics. It was considered an imposter by motorcycle purist as it had two front tires and two back tires in an inline formation. These four tires sat directly in front of and behind the motorcycle so at first glance, it was hard to tell if it was one large tire or two separate tires joined on a hub. Either way… it was a magnificent vehicle.

The Armadillo / "Dillo"
Chapter 28: This Little Light
"Inside the cabin of the Armadillo, his expression changed realizing that time was running short and very soon he was going to be left with a set of very difficult choices to make. He reached into the glove compartment and pulled out a leather zip toiletry bag with gold embroidered eternity logos on each side. Creek looked at Abe and then tossed the bag slightly in his hand, thinking about the best way to handle the imminent situation that was going to transpire once they arrived in Houston. The people meeting them there, unbeknownst to Abe, were going to want answers and Creek had none to give."

Chapter 26: A Mirror of Stars
“That's right, kid. The Earth's Womb… how did you know that? Doesn’t matter. Brenda and I were not going to try to go back to the rig until we had all of our details together… and a plan.”
“Agreed,” Abe replied, “so, the key is really in that box you showed me. Is there any other way to open it besides solving its impossible puzzle?”
“I don't know, kid. Your friend did it. We need to find her… like… yesterday.” Creek made his way across the vehicle area to a small, advanced desk with translucent monitors and a hologram of a massive spaceship, spinning to show its fore and aft sections. It had a label that read The Salvation. Two smaller but still enormous crafts with labels that read Covenant on a ship that was docked on its port side and one that read Sacrament on its starboard side.

Chapter 38: Paladin's Promise
Creek rubbed his beard nervously, “Are you going to meet me in Alief, Pal or do you have something else in mind?”
“Something else,” Paladin replied sharply.
Suddenly, in Creek’s rear view monitor… the bright headlights of five motorcycles and an SUV flashed on.
“Follow my Riders,” Paladin commanded, "Take the next exit.”
Vanta High Velocity Interceptor Asset (Hivelina)
Javelina
Chapter 37: The Covenant
"Matt Wilson was in the passenger seat of the Vanta’s newest creation, the High Velocity Interceptor Asset (HIVELINA, code named Javelina), a high-speed version of its bigger bulkier cousin, the MRAP. This fully armored vehicle could reach speeds in excess of 160mph but could match the larger slower vehicle in firepower. Its speedometer needle was also pegged and was in hot pursuit of the Oldsmobile Tornado. “I need the heavies in Roanoke to mobilize and meet us on I-10,” Matt commanded as he held the hand mic of the mobile radio.
“Tell the local authorities in Jennings that we have two extremely dangerous convicts that have escaped federal custody and are headed their way in a brown Oldsmobile Tornado, circa 1970. Stop the vehicle on sight but tell them to not, repeat, not engage… just pull them over and wait for us.” Matt hung up the hand mic and looked at the driver of the Javelina, “Is this as fast as this damn thing can go? Jesus, no wonder we named it after a pig. Close the weapons bays and get this thing moving!”

Chapter 21: Everybody Dies
“Speaking of assholes,” he said looking at the clouds of blue powder that continued puff into the underground lair, “can you tell how many are out there?”
“As a matter of fact, I can,” Creek replied, “I placed infrared cameras in the treetops around the property just in case any of the alphabet boys decided to come snooping around. They are activated on movement so most of the time I get wild boars, coyotes, and such... but today,” Creek banged the 90s color monitor on the side and the screen flashed to life, “we have this.” Without looking at the screen he pointed at the images coming from it; both Abe and Brenda had a complete look of fear on their faces.
“What?” Creek asked suddenly flushed with anxiety. He quickly turned and looked at the screen and watched several men cut and pull back the concertina wire that protected his property. From the Egypt Gift Shop’s cameras, he could see ten Vanta Armored Troop Carriers with their back ramps opened as armed men continued to run out."
Futuristic Vehicle Hologram
Valkyrie
Chapter 24: A Mirror of Stars
“On one of the monitors, the digital mockup of a matte grey futuristic motorcycle also spun slowly with the word… Valkyrie… labeled underneath it. Creek sat down, rifled through a few books, and unrolled a couple scrolls.
